About
This blog started elsewhere in 2006 as I pondered a change in teaching levels. My path to AP Language started in the first grade. I moved to fourth then ninth. The year I switched from honors and standard American Literature to AP Language I decided to chronicle the path and reflect on my own journey as a learner. That written work is lost but the journey continues and the teaching is as vital as ever. Thank you for reading.
This picture is so precious. LO, you are a gifted writer. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Meg. I have treasured this image for years. There are many lessons there about juggling roles while staying present. Thanks for reading!
Students would be different if there were more teachers with your passion. Thanks for all you do.
Thank you for reading and for your kind words. I bet you are in education as well.
Coming from a student’s perspective, I know for certain that you have left an impact on my life and I am so honored to have been introduced to you through my experiences with Buncombe County Early College. We had our ups and downs, but I always knew that I could come to you with anything. I hope to always try to stay in touch and I’m so glad that you stopped by the candy store the other day. Good luck with your travels and I can’t wait to read all about them!
Kaila! Thank you for seeking this out. I hope you were able to read some of the more recent posts. Many of the student websites would really bring back memories I think. It is getting exciting preparing for my trip and I am delighted to know that you will be reading about my travels here.
