About

This blog started elsewhere in 2006 as I pondered a change in teaching levels.  My path to AP Language started in the first grade. I moved to fourth then ninth. The year I switched from honors and standard American Literature to AP Language I decided to chronicle the path and reflect on my own journey as a learner.  That written work is lost but the journey continues and the teaching is as vital as ever.  Thank you for reading.

Coming from a student’s perspective, I know for certain that you have left an impact on my life and I am so honored to have been introduced to you through my experiences with Buncombe County Early College. We had our ups and downs, but I always knew that I could come to you with anything. I hope to always try to stay in touch and I’m so glad that you stopped by the candy store the other day. Good luck with your travels and I can’t wait to read all about them! :)

  6. Kaila! Thank you for seeking this out. I hope you were able to read some of the more recent posts. Many of the student websites would really bring back memories I think. It is getting exciting preparing for my trip and I am delighted to know that you will be reading about my travels here.
